When the grade 5 and 6’s in 56 SG and 56 JK came back from our term 3 school holidays, the teachers thought it would be boring to just write a recount on our school holidays so they decided that we would do a news report on the imovie app on our iPads. We first had to write our script on our iPads. We then started filming our movie and then edited it. We then uploaded onto box so we could put it in student share. The teacher thought of putting it onto the blog but the size was too big.

In grade 5 and 6 SG and JK we were doing a natural disaster project. I chose to do tsunamis because I thought it was interesting. We each had to research on a natural disaster and make a poster or PowerPoint but we first had to fill in a chart. On the chart there is several natural disaster and you had to fill in the column of your natural disaster. We then paired up with a person who did a different natural disaster and then they share their information and the other person writes it down in the column with the natural disaster on the chart. I had fun learning about the different natural disasters and sharing my information with different people.
